Vic…I could do a whole series on the many falls endured over the years, at times I think I have ‘Clumsy Adult Syndrome’ but I’m more careful now.

weescotchlass…dont assume that we, the Police or the Fire Brigade will always try try the door handle. Even if you put a big poster on the door saying ‘Unlocked’ someone would still try to kick it down. Good skills though thinking about your plan of action.

mary…I am indeed an Ambulanceman. Twenty years in the job and still loving it even the crap bits…apart from the nights maybe!

I live in a block of flats and when the flat on the same landing smoke detector went off forcing me to ring for the fire brigade I made sure I left the key in the lock as I left my flat and locked so that if the fire brigade got the wrong flat they wouldn’t break my door down!

elm…thanks elm. I never found out if a supervisor sorted it and I did not have to fill out a report so I suppose it was smoothed over.

BG…lil sis…what happened next is that we did a couple more jobs and then I went home. I was knackered! Big bro x

Mr. Nighttime…spatial awareness or poor numbering skills and a clumsy mate!

Louise…sometimes the situation can be resolved more quickly doing it ourselves, the Police are becoming more scarce on the ground and we have to wait ages before they turn up (if at all at times!). But sometimes things go ‘Pete Tong’ when the Police turn up too! All good fun.

Emma…I am going to have laser surgery on my eyes and have ‘Night Vision’ installed! x
