BG…There were things moving around down stairs in one of the blocked off rooms.

Superman…could,nt see any light switches. Remember the walls were uneven and cocooned in stuff.

Emma…thanks M. The post cant really do justice to how it really was on scene with out going into great detail. The sad thing is that these are not one offs….a lot of people are living like this.

In that incident, the old chap was alive so the fire service cut a hole through the wall closest to him, removed detritus as if at the scene of a major structural collapse, and then helped fish him out through the hole.

Oh, and as a former caver, I have to say that house caving definitely holds no appeal for me. Ugh!
